At Gia Phát (giaphat.org), you have the right to request deletion of your personal and family tree data from the system. This page explains how to submit a data deletion request.
Data that can be deleted
When you request data deletion, we can delete:
Your login account (email, display name, profile photo, authentication information).
The entire family tree you created or manage (members, relationships, death anniversaries, news, posts).
Usage data and logs related to your account.
How to submit a data deletion request
To request data deletion, please contact us via Zalo. This is the official channel that helps us verify your identity and process your request quickly.
Contact via Zalo
Follow these steps:
Open the Zalo app and search for Gia Phát's official Zalo account (or scan the QR code on the website).
Send a message requesting data deletion, including your registered account information (email or phone number) so we can verify it.
We will respond and confirm as soon as possible (usually within 3–5 business days). After verification, your data will be deleted or anonymized in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
If you don't use Zalo, you can email [email protected] with the subject "Data Deletion Request" and similar content.
Processing time
After receiving a valid request:
We will confirm and process it within 30 days in accordance with privacy regulations.
Some data may be retained as required by law (e.g., invoices, security logs).
